Docent-Led Member Tours & Walks
These specially designed small group docent-led tours offer a unique look at the Zoo. Some of the tours even begin before the Zoo opens! The experiences are free to GLAZA members at all levels and are fantastic for animal enthusiasts, children, and adults. Reservations are required and space is limited. Hope to see you soon!

- You will need to verify your membership by providing your member number and the last name of the primary member on your membership card.

10:30 a.m. Children's Zoo. Gather around for animal or nature-inspired children’s book readings in the shade of the Project Pollinator
Troop Talk
12:30 p.m. Daily. Chimpanzee Seating Area. Join this free, on-microphone talk about troop dynamics.
World of Birds Show
12 pm. Angela Collier World of Birds Theater. This popular, free-flight bird presentation features impressive displays of natural behavior.
Gorilla Family Time
11 a.m. Gorilla Habitat. Enjoy late-morning quality time with gorillas as Zoo staff chat about gorilla family dynamics.
Condor Spotting
12:30 p.m. Across from Bird Show Theater. Get a closer look at the L.A. Zoo’s California condors through spotting scopes
Birding
10 am. Aviary. Using our binoculars and guide, spot some of the Zoo’s most colorful birds.
